Survey - Field Technician 1 (Rod Person) - Kissimmee Office
KPM Franklin is a rapidly growing civil engineering and land surveying firm seeking a full-time survey field tech 1 (rod person) for our Kissimmee office. This is an entry level position that will assist the survey crew chief with completing crew assignments for survey field projects. This person will help keep the assigned crew vehicle clean, properly maintained and stocked with necessary supplies; load, unload, clean and store field surveying equipment; and report any mechanical or safety related equipment and vehicle problems to the crew chief. All applicants must have a Florida driver's license with a clean driving record. This person also must be physically able to stand for long periods of time on various surface types while working outdoors in all terrain and under all weather conditions.long periods of time on various surface types while working outdoors in all terrain and under all weather conditions.

Project Management Responsibilities
•Assist the survey crew chief with completing crew assignments for survey field projects
•Keep assigned crew vehicle clean, properly maintained and stocked with necessary supplies
• Load, unload, clean and store field surveying equipment
• Report any mechanical or safety related equipment and vehicle problems to the crew chief
• Physically able to work outdoors in all terrain and under all weather conditions
• Able to stand for long periods of time on various surface terrain
Education, Expertise and Experience Requirements
• High school diploma or GED certificate minimum
• Florida driver's license with a clean driving record
• Entry level, no experience required

• Good listener and team player with a positive attitude
• Motivation to follow instructions completely while working in rough terrain and all-weather conditions
• Good verbal and basic written communication skills
